These are my top 4 favorite Brandon Wheat Kings’ players.

Quintin Lisoway- Quintin Lisoway is my favorite player. He currently does not play hockey, but the last team he played for was the Fort Wayne Komets in the ECHL. During the last year we had him on the Wheat Kings. He played 64 games, scored 9 goals, and 11 assists. That is why Quintin is my favorite wheat king player.

Ridley Greig- Ridley Greig is my second favorite Wheat King player. In the regular season, Ridley played 39 games, scored 29 goals, and had 37 assists. He currently plays for the Brandon Wheat Kings, but at the end of this season he will join the Ottawa Senators. That is why Ridley is my second favorite “BWK” player.

Linden McCorrisster- Linden McCorrister is my third favorite “BWK” player. He still plays hockey, just not with the Brandon Wheat Kings. He plays with the U. of M, in the CWUAA. His last season with the Wheat Kings was the 2018-19 season. During that season , he played 45  games, scored 14 goals and had 15 assists. Those stats aren’t terrible for only playing 45 games.

Owen Harris- Owen harris is my fourth favorite “BWK” player. He only got drafted to the Wheaties this year, so he still has time to improve. For the regular season, he played 47 games, Scored 1 goal and 2 assists. As you can see he is not the best. He is also defense so that makes a difference. I only like him because he fights a lot.

If Penelope lived, your brain would be exploding… literally.

Penelope Hessinheffer was born on July 6, 1942.  Penelope was 1 year old, and was the best magician throughout the U.S.A. She had a big family. she had 4 sisters, 6 brothers, 3 cats, 8 dogs, 1 fish and her parents. Her sisters names were: Abigail, Georga, Robyn, and Charlotte.  Her brothers names were: Nathan, Jacob, Owen, Ridley, Lynden, and Connor. The cats were named: Tito, George, and Cheeto. The dogs were named: Harley, Hunter, Reese, Striker, Barzel, Elias, Greg, and Rio. the fish was named: Bubbles. Her parents names were: Jody and John.

Penelope could do all sorts of tricks including: Magic Rings, Brain Explosion, and Disappearing Person, and an uncountable number of cool tricks. Penelope was the bet magician alive.

Penelope was 2 when the war started. The Nazis recruited all 6of her brothers. They were 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 , and 15 year olds. Once they got recruited they separately got taken into a little room where thy were asked where they lived. The 8, 9, and 15 year olds did not tell, but sadly the 5, 6, and 7, years old did not know better. After they revealed their address, the Nazis went to their home knowing they had family and bombed their house.

That is the story of Penelope the magicians life.

I found a new species! This morning as I was walking in the rainforest, I suddenly saw a giant tree. I decided to climb to the top of the tree and amazingly I found a species I had never seen. It was purple, had long legs, and was cooking in the kitchen. I tried some of her desserts. They were so delicious, so I decided to call the species the Die for Bakers I took the new species back to the lab. All the scientist’s agreed that they had never seen the species before. It was the greatest day of my life when I found a new species.

Princess Pineapple was a  BEAUTIFUL princess, but she was sadly stranded on a deserted island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Princess Pineapple was very smart. Before she was taken to the island she was playing on the beach with some of her friends. Those friends were named; King Karlos, Prince Peter, Queen Quilia, and Princess Paulina.

That same day at 7:00pm, she went to bed. At 8:00pm , she heard someone walking around, but she just thought that it was her roommate Jeff. She had tottally forgotten that he was staying at his girlfriend’s place that night. So Princess Pineapple went back to sleep. Bob and Joe were the people who had captured her! Princess Pineapple was a very deep sleeper, so as they put her in the sack, she kept sleeping as though nothing had happend.

The next morning, Princess Pineapple woke up, and she was confused on where she was. She was stranded on Death Island. She was 20 years old when she was captured. She was stranded for 52 years. She had finally decided she was just going to die on that island. She was 72 when she had decided that. After 2 more years, a boat came along to explore the island and found her.

After getting saved, she lived until she was 103 years old. Princess Pineapple was the smartest person alive.

One of my favorite things to do is go hunting with my dad. I can see a nice big 6×6 buck. A 6×6 buck just means that the buck has 6 horns on each side of its head. It can be like that with any buck. I smell all the squished down, dead grass. The sound of the doe’s snorting sounds are so  funny and weird. In the cold air, I take a breath, but it’s too cold for my lungs and I start coughing. I can feel my dad shaking and trying to quietly load the gun to shoot the buck. He only misses by about 10 feet!

Today was a great day at the beach!  The sky was turning different colors as the beautiful sun set. The fresh flowers blooming smelled awesome. I could hear the waves hitting the sand. The best feeling is when the sand is sinking in-between my fingers. I can taste the fresh air on my tongue. That is how I feel my trip was to the beach.

I don’t think I could go 1 month without internet. I use the internet for a lot of different things including: Snapchat, Tiktok, Facebook, YouTube, the CHL app, and lots of games. Without the internet I would have to send messenger pigeons to drop off my letters. Thankfully, I do have internet, so I can just text people. My life would be absolutely terrible with no internet for 1 whole month.                          By: Melanie

My greatest talent  is bowling. I have been bowling my whole life. Ever since the day I was born, my mom would bring me bowling. She would carry me on her hip as she  bowled! As I grew up I’ve been getting even better as a bowler. By the time I was 6, I could bowl one handed. I bow in the basement of the Carberry rink. my highest game ever is 217,  but it doesn’t count because it wasn’t during my league play. It was during the Friday Night Cash League. My highest in league play is 195.  I do 5 pin bowling instead of 10 pin bowling. A couple of years ago Julia and I went in a tournament and got silver. In my opinion my greatest talent is bowling.

I know how it feels to be bullied, because I get bullied. When I was in grade 2 I started to  get bullied. Since grade 5 I’ve still been bullied. In grade 6, it has finally started to stop. Grade 5 was probably the worst year of getting bullied, because it was winter time and I was standing around a giant snow ball with some friends. Then the bully came up and started kicking us all. When he got to me I told him to stop. He wouldn’t stop so I stood up for us all, and he pushed me, so I pushed him back. He pushed me again so hard I fell to the ground. Luckily, two of the really mice kids in my  class helped me, and he went crying to the elementary school where his mom works. My parents called the school when I got home and he got in even more trubble. Through those 4 years, it was the same person bullying me and other kids.                                                    BY: Melanie

Once they had found my lantern they knew I would be in the room. then I said to myself, I should have hid the lantern better. I was looking around the room and I saw a whole bunch of pictures. they all looked like my baby sister. I was looking around for too long! They were  both standing right in front of me! I couldn’t tell who they were , because they were dressed in all black. Then suddenly they stepped forward i sync and grabbed me! Then I woke up and it turned out it was all just a dream. From the day before when w went to that haunted house. I have never stepped within 100 ft. of a haunted house ever since.                                THE END
